Oliet is a Cuban writer living in Germany who moves between narrative, poetry and short stories, with an experimental style that blends humour, social criticism, oral tradition and fragmentary images. He completed a diploma in creative writing at Literaria (Mexican School of Writers) in 2020-2021. His story El precio de la vida (The Price of Life) was a finalist in the IV Microrrelatos ‘Círculo Creativo’ Competition, Burgos, Spain, 2022.
He has published Fata Morgana, one of the novels in the Trilogía del desarraigo (Trilogy of Uprooting), Ilíada Ediciones, Berlin, 2022. His short story Mujer de humo (Woman of Smoke) is part of the anthology Cuentan que un perro, cuentan que un gato, la devastación de la inmadurez (They Say a Dog, They Say a Cat, the Devastation of Immaturity), Ediciones Exodus, 2021. The poetry collection by four poets Entre el paraíso y el polen (Between Paradise and Pollen), Ediciones Periféricas, Mexico City, 2023.
